Born and raised in Amarillo, Kristi Aragon is the owner of Two Knives Catering. She made a bold career shift after 14 years in the medical field, trading in scrubs for chef’s whites to pursue a more creative path. After graduating from Cook Street School of Culinary Arts in Denver in 2014, she returned to Texas to share her passion for food with her hometown. What began as small, hands-on cooking classes quickly grew into a full-service catering company built on skill, hospitality, and flavor.

Along the way, Kristi has pursued extensive training in artisan bread baking, viennoiserie (buttery, bread-like pastries), and wine. She has learned from some of the best in the business and has earned a Level 2 Sommelier certification. Today, Two Knives Catering is powered by a skilled team of nine, proudly serving weddings, corporate events, and private parties across the Texas Panhandle with fresh, from-scratch menus and thoughtful service.
Outside the kitchen, Kristi is deeply rooted in family and fueled by a love for learning and adventure. She believes there are two things in life that can never be taken away–your education and your travel experiences–and she’s passionate about both. Whether she’s exploring a new city, discovering a hidden gem close to home, or diving into a new class or recipe, Kristi is always looking for ways to grow. A lifelong learner at heart, she’s constantly inspired by creativity in all forms–gardening, decorating, and hosting friends around a thoughtfully set table with fresh flowers and a perfectly curated meal. For Kristi, creating something beautiful isn’t just a profession—it’s a way of life.
